Beach St Sand Removal Deadline: May 12, 2025
Beach Street Residents — If you’d like the City of Muskegon to remove sand from your property, please move it to the terrace (the area between the sidewalk and the street) by May 12.
City crews will begin picking up sand shortly after the deadline to ensure everything’s clear before Memorial Day weekend.Laketon Ave between Seaway Dr and Park St will be closed for approximately 2 weeks beginning Tuesday, September 10, 2024, for sewer repairs. The suggested detour is utilizing Getty St and Seaway Dr to Sherman Blvd. Please follow the posted detour signs. If you have questions please contact Public Works at 231-724-4100.
