2025 Road Construction Projects Announced

MUSKEGON, MI — The City of Muskegon Department of Public Works (DPW) has announced its 2025 construction projects, including road reconstructions, resurfacing, bridge replacements, and lead service line upgrades. These improvements aim to enhance infrastructure and community quality of life.

An Open House will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the DPW offices, 1350 E Keating Ave. Residents can review project plans and speak with representatives.

Highlights include:

• Road Reconstructions: First St (Hamilton to Apple) and Southern Ave (Lakeshore to Seaway)
• Resurfacing: Sun Dolphin Rd and Oak Ave
• Bridge Replacement: Amity St Bridge
• Lead Service Line Replacements: Campbell Field, Sheldon Park, Oakview neighborhoods, and Apple Ave
