Become a Certified Citizen Planner with MSU Extension

Are you interested in shaping the future of your community? The 2025 Citizen Planner Program, hosted in the Muskegon area, offers the knowledge and skills you need to make informed decisions about land use, zoning, and community development.

 

MSU Extension’s Citizen Planner Program is a six-session course designed for community leaders, decision-makers, and residents who want to gain a deeper understanding of planning and zoning. This in-person program provides practical, real-world training led by experts, including MSU faculty, planners, and attorneys.

 

Program Details:
📅 Dates: Thursdays, April 10 – May 15, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Location: Muskegon City Hall, Commission Chambers (Room 107)
💰 Cost: $250 per participant (group discounts available)
🎓 Certification: Participants who complete all six sessions will receive a Citizen Planner Certificate of Completion
