Serving Muskegon
The Muskegon Public Safety Division works in partnership with the community to enhance the public health, safety, and welfare of the City of Muskegon. The Public Safety Division includes the Muskegon Police Department, Muskegon Fire Department, and the Building and Inspections Services Department.
The Police Department provides comprehensive law enforcement services including community policing, patrol, investigations, and parking enforcement. The Fire Department provides medical response, firefighting, and fire inspection services. The Building and Inspections Services Department provides building, rental, and code enforcement inspections and permits.
