Civil Service Commission – Volunteer Board Position Opening
The City of Muskegon is seeking for a volunteer to serve on the Civil Service Commission. We have an opening for a partial term, which expires on January 31, 2027.
The Civil Service Commission is responsible for classifying city employment positions, overseeing the examination process for city employment, and administering Civil Service Rules. The Commission meets monthly on the second Wednesday at 4:00 PM at Muskegon City Hall.
This is a volunteer board position with a typical six-year term. Interested individuals can apply online at dev.muskegon.one/city-services/boards-committees.
