Welcome to the Glenside Neighborhood!
A little slice of Muskegon where tree-lined streets meet timeless charm.
Tucked beneath a canopy of gorgeous, mature oak trees, Glenside is one of Muskegon’s most beloved neighborhoods — and we like to think it’s the coziest corner of the city! Whether you’re taking a leisurely walk, biking to the beach, or waving hello to neighbors from your porch, Glenside just feels like home.
We’re proud to be the home of McGraft Park, Muskegon’s second-largest park. There’s something for everyone: playgrounds for little adventurers, a disc golf course for the sporty types, a community building for gatherings, a bandshell for music lovers, and open green space for, well, anything your heart desires. Come check it out!
Originally established in 1923 as a subdivision of Muskegon Township, Glenside later became part of the City of Muskegon — and it’s been thriving ever since. Today, we’re a proud multi-generational neighborhood where young families and long-time residents alike share stories, traditions, and a love for our quiet, welcoming streets.
Ask any neighbor and they’ll tell you: we’re perfectly placed between the beach and downtown — close enough for convenience, far enough for peace and quiet.
