2025 Beach Parking Pass Information
Parking Pass Requirement
From May 15 – September 15, all visitors to the following Muskegon beaches must display a valid parking pass:
- Pere Marquette Beach
- Margaret Drake Elliot Park
- Kruse Park
- Harbour Towne Beach
The City of Muskegon has updated its beach parking program for 2025, introducing revised daily rates, adjusted weekend pricing, and a special December/January promotion for season passes.
Daily Parking Rates
Effective May 15, 2025:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: $10 per day
- Wednesday: FREE parking
- Saturday and Sunday: $15 per day
2025 Non-Resident Season Beach Parking Passes
- Price: $40
- Purchase Locations:
- Muskegon Police Department (980 Jefferson St) Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
- City Hall Treasurer’s Office (933 Terrace St) Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
- Department of Public Works (1350 E Keating Ave) Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 AM
- Purchasing Seasonal Passes at a Kiosk
If you purchase a seasonal pass at kiosk you must turn it in for a sticker. You can turn the passes in at the following locations:
- Muskegon Police Department (980 Jefferson St) Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
- City Hall Treasurer’s Office (933 Terrace St) Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
- Department of Public Works (1350 E Keating Ave) Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 AM
- Ghezzi’s (2017 Lakeshore Dr)
- The Cove (Ice cream stand at Pere Marquette Beach)
- Visit Muskegon Visitor Center (610 W Western Ave)
City of Muskegon Residents
- Free Passes: City of Muskegon Households are entitled to two free beach parking passes (not applicable to business owners or landlords).
- Resident Passes Pick-Up Options:
- Pick up in person at the police department.
- Request mail delivery with an online form. (bottom of this page)
