📶 Free Wi-Fi is Coming to Three City Parks! 🌳
We’re excited to announce that McCrea Park, Smith Ryerson Park, and Reese Park will all have access to free public Wi-Fi, expanding digital connectivity across Muskegon’s park system.
This upgrade was made possible thanks to feedback from the 2024 City Parks Survey, where Wi-Fi ranked as one of the most requested amenities by residents.
🔹 Network Name: CityParks FREE WiFi Unsecured Network
🔹 No password required
🔹 Great for remote work, video calls, streaming, and staying connected
🔹 Now live at McCrea Park – with Smith Ryerson and Reese Parks coming online soon!
These three parks were selected because they currently have the highest connectivity scores in our system, allowing us to provide reliable and meaningful access.
Special thanks to our Information Technology Department and Parks & Recreation Department for their collaboration in making this project a reality. This is another step toward building more inclusive, accessible, and modern public spaces for everyone in Muskegon.
📍 Stay tuned for updates as service expands!
