The Muskegon County Parks Department invites you to a Community Workshop in your area to discuss the draft 2025-2029 Recreation Plan.

๐–๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐š ๐‘๐ž๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ฅ๐š๐ง?
A Recreation Plan creates an inventory of existing parks, trails, and recreation facilities within Muskegon County. It also identifies future needs and sets a roadmap for development over the next five years.

๐–๐ก๐ฒ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ข๐ญ ๐ˆ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐š๐ง๐ญ?
An approved Recreation Plan is required by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) for eligibility for grant funding. Additionally, it helps guide future planning efforts within the county.

โ€ข Thursday, October 17th: Norton Shores Library (705 Seminole Rd., Norton Shores) 5:30 PM
โ€ข Monday, October 21st: Egelston Township Hall (5428 E Apple Ave., Muskegon) 4:00 PM
