Police Department Traffic Crash

On Tuesday, July 29th, at approximately 12:37 PM, officers of the Muskegon Police Department responded to a crash in the area of Lakeshore Drive and Robinson Street. Officers arrived to find a collision between a passenger car and a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, a 40-year-old Muskegon man, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Muskegon Department of Public Safety extends our deepest condolences to all those affected by this tragic incident.

The passenger car was driven by a 33-year-old Muskegon man who was arrested. Speed is believed to be a factor.
