SeeClickFix to Streamline Non-Emergency Reporting
June 23, 2025
MUSKEGON, MI — The City of Muskegon is proud to officially launch SeeClickFix Muskegon, a new digital tool that empowers residents to quickly and easily report non-emergency issues in their neighborhoods.
Whether you’re on your phone or computer, SeeClickFix makes it simple to share concerns like potholes, missed trash pickup, or park maintenance needs directly with city staff. The platform allows users to upload photos, track the status of their requests, and get updates as issues are addressed.
“SeeClickFix Muskegon empowers our community to take part in keeping the city clean, beautiful, and thriving,” said Community Engagement Manager, Deborah Sweet. “It gives residents a simple way to share what they see and allows the city to respond more efficiently.”
What You Can Report:
- Potholes or graffiti
- Park maintenance and damaged public amenities
- Missed trash, yard waste, or recycling pickup
- Blocked storm drains
- Other non-emergency neighborhood concerns
How It Works:
- Download the SeeClickFix app on iOS or Android, or visit the web portal at mkgcity.com/seeclickfix.
- Submit your request by entering the location, selecting a category, and adding a description and photo (if available).
- Choose to submit as yourself, anonymously, or as a guest.
- Track your request as it’s reviewed and resolved by city staff.
Please note: SeeClickFix is not monitored 24/7. For urgent public safety concerns (e.g., downed power lines, active water main breaks, or hazardous conditions), call 911 immediately.
SeeClickFix Muskegon is powered by SeeClickFix 311 CRM by CivicPlus®, a trusted 311 solution used by communities across the country. The platform empowers residents to report issues, identify repair needs, share feedback, and ask questions of their local government leaders. For municipalities, it powers efficient and transparent workflows, fostering accountability and trust. The result is collaborative experiences that help co-create clean, safe, and thriving communities.
With over 750,000 downloads, a 4.5+ star rating on Apple, Google Play, and Capterra, and 1.5 million resident requests resolved in 2022, SeeClickFix has become a proven tool for civic engagement.
The City soft-launched SeeClickFix in early 2025 and has already responded to over 600 resident requests from across Muskegon.
