The Department of Public Works (DPW) has several major road and utility projects scheduled for the 2025 construction season.

The DPW team is hosting an open house at DPW on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM to discuss the 2025 projects.

During the 2024 Construction Season, in the Bluffton Area – Wilcox and Thompson were reconstructed. The slideshow below has photos from the project to give you an idea of what to expect this summer. The Wilcox and Thompson projects included sanitary sewer and water mains being replaced. The work included various storm sewer improvements, fully rebuilding the asphalt road, and some sidewalk improvements. The project involved replacing various water services from the water main into the home or building throughout the project area.
